About the role

Contract research role for camera-based heart-rate and breathing-rate estimation from facial video. The client wants someone who has already built and validated this kind of system.

What you'll do

• Develop and validate non-contact heart-rate and breathing-rate estimation from facial video.
• Apply remote photoplethysmography and video-based respiratory monitoring.
• Use computer vision, facial tracking, and motion analysis on facial recordings.
• Evaluate algorithms against reference ECG, PPG, or respiratory signals.

Requirements

• Advanced biomedical signal processing and physiological signal analysis.
• Hands-on computer vision, facial tracking, and motion analysis.
• AI and deep learning with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Python, signal filtering, time-frequency analysis, and physiological feature extraction.
• Experience evaluating algorithms against reference ECG, PPG, or respiratory signals.
• A PhD and peer-reviewed publications in camera-based physiological monitoring are preferred, not required.
