Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technician
About the role
Research and implement AI/ML models, automation, and ops tooling across a restaurant business — from Vic.ai invoice automation to POS/accounting sync and internal dashboards.
What you'll do
- Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies for business-wide implementation.
- Deploy AI models and automation tools across departments.
- Integrate Vic.ai, Dext, Fathom/Jirav, and 7shifts into restaurant finance and labor workflows.
- Sync POS and accounting systems (Lavu, Restaurant365) via Zapier, Make, or Omnivore.
- Build and maintain AI dashboards in Power BI or Looker Studio.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI systems for performance and accuracy.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of machine learning, NLP, and computer vision.
- Experience with AI frameworks.
- Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
