AI Lighting Design Automation & Agent Developer
About the role
An experienced AI Developer / Automation Engineer is needed to build an AI-powered lighting design tool that automates functions currently done in DIALux and Relux, using OpenAI, Claude, and Copilot APIs.
What you'll do
- Build AI workflows using ChatGPT/OpenAI, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and their APIs.
- Develop automated workflows for interpreting PDF, DWG and BIM drawings.
- Connect AI to lighting calculation and geometry engines.
- Integrate lighting product databases and IES/LDT photometric files.
- Develop AI agents to check, optimise and improve lighting designs.
Requirements
- Strong experience with AI APIs, ChatGPT/OpenAI, Claude or Microsoft Copilot.
- Strong Python and API integration skills.
- Experience with AI agents, automation platforms and workflow development.
- Knowledge of CAD/DWG/BIM and geometry processing.
- Commercial, practical mindset with the ability to turn an idea into a working product.
