About the role
iMerit Scholars is an invite-only expert network run by iMerit, matching contributors holding an advanced degree (MA, MSc, or PhD) with specialized AI data-annotation, chain-of-thought reasoning, and LLM fine-tuning work across academic, professional, and creative domains. Rates are hourly or per-task, individually negotiated and location-adjusted.
What you'll do
- Invite-only expert network delivering expert-led data and chain-of-thought reasoning to fine-tune LLMs
- Listed projects require an advanced degree — e.g. "Text Analysis" (MA/MSc, Arts & Humanities or Natural Sciences) and "Mathematics" (MA/MSc/PhD, Natural Sciences)
- Remote, flexible work in small teams led by project managers and domain experts, not open crowd tasks
- Rates are hourly and per-task, individually negotiated and location-adjusted
- Paid via USD bank wire only — no PayPal, Wise, or Payoneer; the worker bears any FX conversion cost
Requirements
- An advanced degree (MA, MSc, or PhD) or equivalent subject-matter expertise in a listed domain
- Admission is invite-only via application review
- Able to receive payment via USD bank wire
